maybe try a lure like a deep diving 50mm or is it 60mm ac slim invader, sposed to dive to 10m. It looks like a murray cod / yellowbelly lure, might try it. I have a gaff in the boat and generally only fish fresh... you wouldn't see it tho, it resides hidden away and ive never used it. it was in the boat when I bought it and i've left it there, maybe it will come in handy for something oneday.

the nathalia euro crawlers seem to last a fair while (it says upto 3 months in the fridge on the packet), had them in the container in my garage for a month or so in warmish weather and they were still alive. had others that are dead in a week in similar conditions.
