Thanks Seb, good advice as always. I would probably prefer a regular ole life jacket. Do you know of any decent ones with some pockets built in? Something like this but that I can trust will actually keep me afloat if needed!! Ideally not costing $300 either. Even better if it'd work for some rock ...

It's not that expensive here in Vic and they use it to stock fish etc. It's a small amount to what they do.
Go to NZ and their license is like $200 if I'm not mistaken.
