Nice fish mate :thumbsup: Caught 1 that went 41. As always they all go back. I was led to believe redfin were like carp captures and not allowed to be returned to the water ? seeing they are an introduced species... They are in NSW, here releasing them is discouraged but not illegal. Somewhere like...

In the Yarra Valley the "human leech" is way more prolific and a pain in the ass then the bush variety. Although every now and then you may be able to get both species to suck on ya nutz.

41cm is a great reddy, well done. I spent a few hours at Don lake last week with worms but we couldn't catch anything in a couple of hours. 4 rods out, 3 on a running sinker and 1 on a float about a foot off the bottom. In that photo it's actually a garden worm/tiger worm cocktail. I use mainly garden worms.
