Could be something messing with their sonar? Usually, when one gets confused or disoriented for some unknown reasons, others follow. Could be sonar issue, could be predator, could be a sick fish on the pod. didn't think dolphins had any real predators... do sharks prey on dolphins? nah, remember Fl...
