Last session of 2018 and first of 2019

Post by mazman » Wed Jan 02, 2019 5:54 pm

Hey guys,
Just a quick little report. New Years Eve I met up with Niroj and headed to the hills for a super short session on the trout. We finished on 12 fish between us, mainly rainbows but a few browns in the mix. all fish took dries but one was landed by the nymph dropper that collected it in the ass on the take.

For New Years Day I got up early and made the drive out to gippsland, once there I started making my way up a river casting a cicada at every piece of structure and hole but it was looking pretty quiet. I finished the day on two hits from two consecutive casts which resulted in a 47cm bass.
