Mercury 100 tilt trim

Post by aussie_fisho » Sat Nov 09, 2013 9:23 pm

Recently bought a new boat on the auctions and having troubles with the tilt trim. Does anyone know where I could get a tilt trim for a 1994 mercury 100hp outboard anywhere around vic. Or a place which could repair it. I desperately need a tilt trim as it's the only thing stopping me from using the new boat. Plz help :shocker:

What's it doing fisho? Leaking from the hydraulic ram or is the electric motor playing up?

Need to find out whats the actual problem first.... could be low oil due to seals to solenoid to motor being stuffed.. could be simple fix or replace certain parts! Before jumping the gun to buy a whole new/secondhand unit... find out whats the cause...

What it actually doing?
