A couple of Trout

Post by Seniorfisho » Mon Aug 08, 2022 7:31 pm

I went down to the lake this afternoon for some trout and managed to get 2 nice browns. I started at my favorite spot casting spoons for an hour without much luck. I decided to walk along the wall trying different spots and goit 2 fish on the spoons which both come off. I then changed to hardbodies and got one on a CD5 Rapala and also one on the 60mm Double clutch in lazer red. Beautiful day to be out fishing

Yeah at $25 a pop they are certainly not a cheap lure.
They were at clearance at anaconda and also bcf a while ago for $5-$10 bucks depending on models.

Well done mate. Bob'n spoons and Double Clutches seem to be doing well on the impoundment trout of late.

Bobn spoons have been the best for me this winter but you lose half of them during the battle

Replace the treble with a size 2 or 1 Gamakatsu single lure hook.
