Re: Taking and picking up health workers to their place of work during curfew
It's also possible either of their employers -- your daughter's, I guess, given she doesn't drive -- could give you a permit. At the press conference they mentioned a system of permits for people to move around after curfew. Given you're the driver, I assume you'd be eligible for it. Alternatively, I know I was able to get -- from my employer -- a note that says I'm an essential worker. Perhaps your wife and/or daughter could get such a note and YOU leave it in the glove box.
EDIT
I can see it's been said by others but, yeah, I think you'll be ok.

Re: Taking and picking up health workers to their place of work during curfew
This is nuts.
Called DHHS. As soon as i mentioned I needed info about the curfew rules, I was patched to the COVID hotline. The options were bad but option 4 seemed logical - breach of heatlh officer directive. Call went to the police hotline. Surprise surprise, the person who helped me (name starts with D) didn't know the answer. He acknowledged my question was legit and a good one but he didn't know the implementing rules. I was asked to call the COVID hotline again and use option 2. I did. After hearing lengthy IVR messages, I heard the message "we are experiencing high volume of calls. Please try again later. Bye"..." click". Maybe if they laid out the info clearly and right on the home page of their websites, no one will call.

ABC radio delivers. Apparently searching for 'work permit Victoria' won't get you here. You need to Google 'permitted worker scheme.' https://www.justice.vic.gov.au/permitted-worker-schemeFish-cador wrote: ↑Tue Aug 04, 2020 9:59 amThis is nuts.

How it applies to *you* I'm unsure of. You'd probably still need the note, signed by the employer, which explains your part in getting your wife and daughter to work.

They finally cleared the policy. Stress level dropped.
Due to their shortcomings, they probably took a few weeks off my short miserable life.
