Ill be taking the boat out for that first run in almost a year. Giving it a good shake down, but i dont expect any dramas as ive been running it regularly and havent had any issues other than the steering problem i posted about.

Ill Hopefully get some squid and probably target whiting at the same time, starting at Werribee South. But if the weather holds off i will launch at Newport and fish down towards Ricketts.

I will be heading Geelong area as i left while they were still biting last time. I reckon i will do ok land based and give boating a miss for a while till the panic boating fishing disappears. Station pier maybe also as timing is also ok for this time of the year catching Salmon. This is the longest break dedicated fishos have ever had. Good luck to all.

I am with you on that one. I wont be taking the boat out for at least a couple of days. But i certainly will go down to the ramp and check it out, could be some comedy gold there.
