going to ride to the local fish and chip shop to get some potato cakes and chip,s with vinegar

Aaaaah, a walk down memory lane , , , , well, a bike ride down memory lane, straight to the local Fish'n'Chip Shop for some hot chips.

A Neighbourhood kid, Henry & I did this some weekends. And in Footy season (if we weren't wetting a line) sneak into Alberton Oval to watch Port Adelaide (SANFL) kick goals , , , , especially against Norwood :bn:

Trying to learn how to cast with a bait-caster setup in backyard - Started out very very bad - now I am just bad - 50+ years of using trout spin gear, then having a go at bait-caster setup - Not an easy transition - Getting too old to keep climbing of Garage roof to retrieve erratic cast sinker.
Here's a good tip from Paul about learning how to use baitcast.

This brings back memories.

When i was a kid i had a Mongoose Californian Pro with Sky Way II tuffs. We used to live on our bikes. Growing up in Patterson Lakes in the 80's before all the houses were built was great. We used to go fishing down in the canals on the jetties for bream. Then hit the old fish and chip shop down near Gladesville Blvd on the way home.

Just so long as you were home when the street lights came on. :sr:

I have been watching old AFL replays, looked at the 2000 GF on utube and it looked like someone digitised an old vhs video recording, it makes you appreciate how good the current technology is. I have never watched so much AFL before, normally I would be too busy getting out on the water.

Two things come to mind:

Glad to see that even with the lifting of some restrictions, you still plan to do your exercise indoors :-D

and

Now I know where your profile name came from :tu:

Cheers, Bugatti , , , , I can join you with two of your three activities , , , , only question is, which two ;-)
