Lagoon Pier or Kerferd Road Pier?
Lagoon Pier or Kerferd Road Pier?
Hi guys,
Planning on going for some land based snapper this weekend but I can't decide which pier to go to as I haven't been to either one before. I would really appreciate it if you could provide me with some info on both piers and recommend which one to try my luck at. I'm open to other suggestions that are relatively within close distance to the mentioned locations.

Both are good. Can be crowded, so get there early to get the good spot. Towards the end of the pier.

I have caught many snappers from both those piers. Lagoon casting from the bend can be good or from the end box.
Kerferd I have caught and seen some beauties caught just half way up the pier on the left side. In coming tide and preferably a southerly blowing.

All sorta fish.
Pinkie to snapper, flathead, gummy. Have seen elephant fish but uncommon. Mullet, bream. Both paternoster and running work.
