Respooled my Caldia LT 2500 with Jbraidx8 Grand, looks pretty

im thinking about this reel in a slightly bigger size soonish i think.
whats the braid like, have you used it yet. have heard good and bad things about it.

The reel is definitely amazing.
Haven't used it with the new line. Feels soft, round and smooth.
Gonna test it tomorrow.

Had a $50 Anaconda gift card to burn so thought I'd try a different pe to replace some 15yo fins plus a couple of jigs to top up the box. Its been that bloody long since I've been in the place I had no idea where anything was.

Anyone else tried the dangan braid? Feels damn nice through the fingers for a 4 strand and is cheaper than similar lines

Bought the 8 strands with the voucher the other day. It frays easily, but smooth and soft. Okay for bait fishing I guess.

Tried the Jbraidx8 grand couple times now. It's soft and smooth. Seems like loosing the colour pretty easily but performance wise its good. Gave me fee rod tip tangles, I'm guessing coz its soft and smooth and I was casting light lure in windy condition.
For extra dollars, no much significant improvement to the normal Jbraidx8 though.
Also, maybe it feels nice and smooth because of the caldia reel its on. I'd imagine be a different story if its on a cheap $20 reel.
