Rhyll
Went out from Rhyll for the grand final weekend in search of a big red.
Caught dozens of couta, and a couple of flathead and one 23cm red.
Water temp was 14.1-14.4 deg C.
Saw one good red caught in a nearby boat and 2 back at the ramp, hoping to get out next weekend to try again.

Re: Rhyll
At least you had a go I got a few squid decided against a snapper sesh. If I was fishing for snapper this time of year I’d be focusing my efforts past corinella or past nidaroot.

Re: Rhyll
Clever thinking, worth a crack! Did you have much of a sound around at all? Reckon I'd be trying the deeper water from Silverleaves to Cowes there hoping to cross paths with an early season fish as they start to trickle in. Better luck next trip!
