Re: Gagets 2
Well done Inspector, cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

Wow wee Denis
Some real nifty ideas, love the Bung Chords , , , , never loose them that way. I do something similar with my Fish Ruler Sticker. I have double sided taped a plastic block on the "0" as a easy stopper.
I have seen also some Ting Fishos, they use a PVC plastic tube and end cap the length of the Tings. Slide fish in, if you see tail sticking out , , , , it's a keeper.
I bought a Handheld GPS some years back on clearance, which is what I use to this day as my Boating GPS. Unfortunately they didn't have any mounting brackets left , , , , anywhere. So I made my own, with aluminium and some Boating bits & pieces.
Love ya work Denis
Cheers, Bug

Re: Gagets 2
Great stuff here guys..
Loving the rallyart gear knob.
I love diy jobs. I have done my own casting decks, hatches and frames on the boat. It certainly is rewarding when it's all done and gets used frequently.
I'm looking to design a spare rod holder for drifting squid atm. Never fish with a sleeper rod. But I will try it this season.
My aim with the boat is to make everything look like it came like that from the factory...
Cheers

Hi Mr Barden
My Son 16 is quite handy too and has always shown an interest in making, fixing and the great Blokedom way. Hey has "real" tools, and a better collection than most of my mates. He started off, with a few trips here and there and we got him a full compliment of tools.
What we do now, is purchase "his" tools as he needs more (instead of borrowing mine) which expands his tool collection over time.
He came to me the other day and asked if I had any long socket/ratchet extensions , , , , well off to SuperCheap we go , , , ,
Got him two sets of extensions, so he can now vary those to length required. He originally asked for one that was 600mm long. With these, he can go almost to a metre. Not sure why he needs one that is 600mm long , , , , kids , , , , I just hope his Mum's Washing Machine motor doesn't fall out
Anyway , , , , we made a PVC tube, with threaded lid to have them in , , , , instead of all over the place
Cheers, Bugtinkerer
