For those interested the app that I have is being discontinued and replaced by “Navionics Boating marine & Lakes” following one, and guess what, double the price now at 35 plus about 14 for her inapp purchases

I have no affiliation with this company!

Definitely not closer than bermi. Pretty sure bermi is about as close as the shelf gets to the main land. From memory around 20ks. Pretty sure coota and eden fairly similar distances as the previous post showed. You can measure distances off navionics fairly accurately.

I’m headed to coota for Australia Day weekend no boat unfortunately but will head down to the ramp for a look. It’s normally a pretty good ramp. They built a big rock break wall running out of the ramp for some way making it much better than the old setup. As others have said it can’t silt up though.
The shelf is only about 12miles from Bermagui

There's nothing . . . absolutely nothing . . . half so much worth doing as simply messing around in boats.

An incident at broken boards.

Boat hit the sand bar and washed into the rockwall.
Info and photo on save bastion point facebook page.

Saw photos today of the ramp and a substantial build up of sand.

Surfers had nice little peelers off the inside of the point. If the swell was around the 4-6ft mark I think the take off at the ramp would offer a great barrel section.
