2019 Cod Trip - 22/23/24 March

Post by Brett » Sun Jan 13, 2019 10:12 am

It's that time of year again when we start preparing for The Annual Cod Trip

We will be in roughly the same spot as the last 6 years.
We never know until we get there as others may have already set up.( signs will be up on trees same as other years)
Everyone is welcome along, but please remember there are no facilities at all. It's bush camping. :super:
It is National Park, so NO dogs and NO firearms.
NSW fishing licence is also needed.

So lock it in 22nd-23rd-24th of March, hopefully it's enough notice, so those that need to can organise rdo's if they want to come up on the Friday etc.

Cheers.

I think, at this stage, barring any unforeseen circumstance and with regard to available leave and the boss's willingness to see me out the door for a week, that i'm pretty sure, in the current climate, that I will be able to make it.
I hope.

Well one thing for sure - it is not the Darling River at Menindee - first there are no dead cod and other native fish and secondly the river is actually running!!!!! I hope it all goes well.
