It came with a spare tip (Southern Sportsfishing), but you can also buy spares (with different action/flex) which is handy. I also love a full grip which is getting harder to find with lighter rods these days.

I wouldn't use it for any type of lure fishing.

They are designed for bait fishing and sensitive nibble detection.....

My go to rod down here is Shimano Raider Soft Plastic 3-5kg. With 2500 stradic

But I like the feel of the Shimano cranx sitting in the rack I like better but too good to use while I have the raider out.

Similar to ducky for me, my egi rod is the best all rounder.

Not a bad ting rod but they're a little fragile, I'm too scared to use my other one now

My fav's are Ugly Stik SP761LFT's, 7'6" single piece, light and whippy, perfect for KGW etc. They can handle big rays without exploding all over the place.

Rated at 2 - 6 lb? What line do you have on it and do you just use it for lures? Thanks in advance!
