Success but not the right kind.
Had a great session on a remote Prom ledge fishing for Kings. Using a squid strip under a float and spinning with stick baits while I wait I've picked up a PB salmon. Still no VIC kings yet this season but the search continues.
Big fish went 67cm and 3.6kg and inhaled a nomad Madscad in pilchard pattern. The other on one of the float baits.
I'm happy to discuss any aspect of the tactics other than the exact location.

nice fish . it wouldn't matter if u told me where abts u fished as I still wouldn't have any luck even if u cast my line in for me..lol

You need to throw bigger stickbaits. The kings are mixed in with those big salmon schools :a_goodjob:
