Goulburn 9-9-18

Post by Sinsemilla » Mon Sep 10, 2018 10:25 am

Headed up to the Goulburn yesterday for my first session since opening. I wasn't too keen as i knew there would be every man and his dog there trying for one of those big rainbows. I got to my spot at around 9am and there were more than 10 cars parked up.. not a good sign.

I started hiking down stream to get away from the crowds and it paid off. A cracker of a brown that took a black and gold strike tiger softplastic. It put up an amazing fight and was probably close to, if not, my PB out of the river.

My fish and a 35cm rainbow on a bladed spinner was all that a couple mates and i landed.

Cheers, Anth
