Gunners version of vegan 8 Sept

Post by Fish-cador » Sat Sep 08, 2018 7:11 pm

Hit gunners but I arrived late at 8AM. The baitos did good from 7 to 8AM as I was told. Their buckets were loaded already when i hit the sand. Some monsters in the mix. First 5 min and I got 2, missed a big take, dropped one but nothing else after that.

The 2 I caught were round with belly obviously full. They were full.....with sand. I have never seen anything like this before. Has the fish gone "sand-igan"? Not a single trace of fish in the guts.

Why are they eating sand? Can they expel the sand or will they eventually sink and die?

Photos to follow...if i can make the file size small.

The only thing I can think of is that it could be a method of purging intestinal parasites?
Just a guess on my part.... google wasn't helpful

Don't drag them along on a rope behind you when walking/wading :-)
