New PB (I Think)
Had a free hour so thought I'd try and catch something before the next set of gales blow in. Only had one bite but this is the result. Cleared out the car this morning to take the goat to the vet so didn't have a tape measure. Marks on the rod are 47cm and the fish slightly overhangs both ends. Anyway beats my previous mark of 42cm and this fish was way bigger all around.
Was a huge fish and unfortunately photos dont do it justice.

Worse than that, I reckon it was nudging 50cm. Typical the one day I didn't have the measure.purple5ive wrote:good fish mate, what a shame theres no solid proof of a 47, thats defenitely a cracker fish..

Great catch dezza,
Never targeted bream before, caught a few as a by catch, but on light gear I can see the attraction with a stonker like that !
So whats the average size that your catching and what size can they be caught at ? 50cm by the sounds of, sounds like it's getting up there for them ?
