I am looking at getting a Baitcast setup for spinnerbaits but I have never used one before so I don't want to spend too much in case this type of fishing isn't for me. I see Dinga has a Rovex Oberon Baitcast Rod & Reel combo for $69 and wondering if it's reasonable for the price or should I keep looking.

Re: Rovex Oberon Baitcast Reels
He did say baitcast setup not spinning..
I really enjoy using a baitcaster, accurate casting and fun to use reels, problem is if you buy a very cheap setup you’re not getting the full potential of the setup, I’d rather get an entry level Shimano baitcast setup for a bit more, I have a Curado, awesome reels

I have a Curado and its awesome. Also picked up a cheaper reel the Daiwa Feugo for $140 and it seems really gòod. Have not used it in anger yet. I think if you went up to $100 to $150 you will get a much better reel. Look at sales soon for Shimano Daiwa and abu.Bayrock wrote:He did say baitcast setup not spinning..
