Re: MIcro jigs
Ive successfully jigged those cheap metal slices (usually used for salmon spinning) and caught flatties. Well, when I say jigged, I mean bounce it off the bottom a foot or 2 and drift along. Also done it at 40m out of the eastern entrance (WP) and it worked. The trebles like to snag on anything they touch so make sure the bottom is sandy.

Re: MIcro jigs
20 - 25 gram flat falls work a treat on flatties and pinkys in the bay - simple enough just drop the jig to the bottom and bounce it theres no need to wind it up just keep bouncing itKgWhiting wrote:Anyone tried using micro and octa jigs on flatties pinkies etc in ppb and had success?? Sat on cup Week end while chasing Snaps I was amusing myself with small flat falls off Davies point in about 15.5 meters and third lift off the bottom would have a flatty hooked every time
hope that helps
