Rigs/Terminal tackle don't go back in after use until rinsed with fresh water and allowed to dry.
Lures box gets emptied and all lures / box rinsed with fresh water after use then allowed to dry.
Keep tackle boxes in boat away from areas where salt water could spray/splash.

just chuck everything out whenever it gets rusty and buy a bunch of new stuff

Don't put used hooks back with unused ones, get rid of any moisture and if u see any hooks with rust put them seperately as rust spreads fast
