Size doesn't matter
We managed to get going early today and launched from corinella, headed up the top of the bay and found a the sounder fill up as we checked each of the channels. Dropped a range of baits and waited in anticipation of a run on a rod. A few nibbles, missed a hook up on a run 10 mins before high tide. Then this little guy came along. Was a first for James to land a gummy, he was stoked.
Also managed a couple of cod, no bites after the run out tide, tried our luck at a few stops along mosquito channel, couple of hits & no hook ups, then another smelly cod.
Great day out. Water temp at the top of WP was 11.5C.

Re: Size doesn't matter
thanks guys.
BM, we were on the water at 6:30am & the weather was dead calm in the morning off stockyard where we caught this guy, then the wind blew hard from 11am & by 12:30 its was white caps across WP bay. well worth the early start.
