Screw them as low as you can for bare bones bmt package and do everything else yourself or organise other business to do it for you. Hell see if they'll run the wiring for the gauges without actually installing them so you can get the dash setup exactly as you want.

No point getting average whatever thrown in that you'll upgrade not to far down the track or a layout that doesn't exactly work for you all because it was easier to get it done at the place of purchase as part of a package
Stessco n brooker have, bilge ,paint , splash well, gauges, nav lights ,as stand inclusion.
Motor well,paint extra on savage....

No idea how I want layout, one thing I want 7inch sounder...
Ta for info

Walt for the boat show i reckon. Go in and see the boats you like and get the pricing. Then come back and ream them while flashing some money loll.

I got no idea on tinnies. But if you going console and fishing alone then go centre console. In a side console the boat is always wonky when under way with just one guy. Plus you will get spray on the side. Centre console seems to be a bit dryer.

With the sounder the new elite ti 9 and 12 will be out soon.
If your going to get an electric motor then go for the motorguide xi5 and elite ti7, 9 or 12 package.
If only fishing ppb then you won't use an anchor again if you have those 2. No more pulling up anchor. Dropping anchor etc. Deploy theelectric and Hit one button and its done.
Good luck with the hunting

Mine came with the sounder. Make sure the wiring is not earthed to the hull! I fish 3 up lure casting easy, 2 up perfect. Do some research on the hulls & the ride they give. The TE has a great dry ride, crap wiring, motor on the pod is good & the same height freeboard all round.
Why isn't it any good to wire the earth to the hull?

Thanks for sharing this info :-D

It brings on the electrolysis faster than you can imagine. Does not matter how many anodes you fit & wash downs, it'll still come up somewhere. It'll also come on faster if you fish saltwater. Its not restricted to telwater boats, all tinnies will get electrolysis at some time. It comes out where you have dissimilar metals touching. Good reason to keep the tinny tidy when you drop hooks, sinkers, screws etc or just adding gear to the boat.

i had to run my tinny up the ramp at saftey beach ramp...went out at it was flat...turned real quick and wave were crashing o ramp...no way i was going to try put it on the trailer... so drove it up the ramp and the back end got swamped... but winched it up trailer straight off the ramp, if it was fibreglass...would of had to wait it out

You never have to wait it out at Safety Beach, you just head into the cove, they can't stop you, if you are sheltering from bad weather.
havent been back....this was before the cove was built

We have a 525 Brooker discovery centre console and I have to say it's brilliant to fish off, in the bay and on lakes and estuaries. There is plenty of room front and back to fish (not sure how well it compares to the smaller models...) and we haven't found anything we dislike about it.

BrookeR seem well priced.
460 centre console ,is about 22,700

Does your brooker have pod or splash well

From other people we have met that have them we have only heard good things!

Not sure about the pod or splash well, but this is what the back looks like...

To be honest, we can't really fault the boat. I am no expert but I am comfortable navigating the boat through chop in the bay at a decent speed so I would say that it handles pretty well for what it is.... again, I am no expert but we have never felt "unsafe" in any conditions that have presented themselves.
