Species Comp 16/17

Postby DougieK » Thu Jun 30, 2016 6:00 pm

LEADERBOARD HERE https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... edit#gid=0

After an incredibly successful run this year with some ridiculous fish getting landed lets get going again.

Previous Winners
2014: Fitzy90
2015: Snapper Snatcher
2016: Ducky

Rules are here.

viewtopic.php?f=100&t=13644

Comp opens as of now and ends at 4pm on the 30/6/2017

Entry Fee: $25 paid to the Fishing Victoria PayPal account. The email address is admin@fishing-victoria.com Please select ‘payment to friends/family’ otherwise fees are incurred that Jon has to pay out of the pool. Add your member name to the transaction in the message section. Then contact Jon (fishingvic) to let him know you have paid. He will confirm payment received and you will be entered into the comp.

https://www.paypal.com/au/webapps/mpp/s ... eive-money

Entires will remain open until Dec 31 at 11.59pm.

I have added Gummy shark and Kingfish to the species list, only the CM total OVER the legal limit will be added to totals, with gummy's measured from the end of the gills to the fork of the tail, and Kingfish measured as with all other species.

Despite how badly i don't want to go fishing for roach, the freshwater species remain unchanged.

This year, there are 22 species of fish on the list.

With 7 days left in the comp (so on 23/6/2017) I will hold a vote for fish of the comp. Only entrants may vote and you may not vote for your own fish.

The codeword is FISH1617

I'm going away for a couple of days and will put up a gsheet leaderboard when I get home.

I'd encourage everyone to enter as a portion of the fee goes to the funding of this forum.

Paid entries:

Basti
Mazman
Whiskers
Aaron75
chris seafarer
fshtim
ducky
Kadmium

Nope. Think it would take away from the individual. This comp is about who is the best all round angler, not which three guys have managed to get together and get all the required species.

Great to see guys. It's as much of a personal challenge as it is a challenge against others.

Ye olde mat has been updated. Has more coats of paint than a connex train this bad boy.
