kingies still around

Post by barra mick » Thu Mar 10, 2016 4:46 pm

Headed out early this morning for a crack at the kingies.

As soon as we got close to the fishing location on first light I could see alot of birds smashing bait.

There was massive schools of bait and fish all around them.

Anything we trolled through the schools got smashed.

Unfortunately we had to leave after a few hours account work but we had a great few hours

It was my turn to drive the boat so I was just flicking lures when I could on my barra rod

it only had 15 pd braid on it so I lost more than I landed but the fight was awsome.

I didnt count how many we had on but it would of been over 20 between us.we landed 8.

we kept a few good eating ones.

Im going back out tomorrow .

cheers bm
