I caught one on the float which was the only fish I saw landed, knowhere near 2kg just scraping 1kg. Couple of others lost fish but was pretty empty down the end. Was a fair few guys half way up, not sure if they had a special spot or just taking advantage of the lights?Scraglor wrote:Just saw pics of a 2kg sambo caught at sunset, shattered, should have ducked down rather than clean the boat.
I have always caught my fish about halfway up. You will see there is a sand bar there, and I reckon the fish run up and down the gutter eating stuff that rolls off the bar. I always do heaps better there than up the end in terms of sambosdezza68 wrote:I caught one on the float which was the only fish I saw landed, knowhere near 2kg just scraping 1kg.
