Ringwood lake used to be a cracker. Heaps of carp of all sizes, and the odd tench. It got drained years ago, and I'm told they got rid of heaps of big carp. Anybody tried it recently?

I'm keen to try La Trobe University's moat. Security kick out most people who try to fish there so I reckon there could be some good sized carp in it (probably with 3 eyes, 2 mouths and a rare form of herpes).

I remember going out there and seeing a Goldfish swimming around.

I wasn't fishing though :(
Winners forget they're in a race. They just love to run.

Yeah there are a few mutant koi around the inner campus, the lake near the sports fields looks the goods though. Once cricket finishes I'll give it a crack.

You might be fine on a weekend, I know they've moved people on in the past though.

I haven't seen any, just the no swimming signs (not that they deter the college kids after a night on the ****). On the other side of Kingsbury Drive is all good though. Let me know when you're planning on going, I live 5 min away from the uni and I know a lot of the guards through work.
