Jamieson help

Post by biggar » Thu Mar 27, 2014 4:42 pm

Hey guys, heading up to Jamieson tommorow night for a fishing trip. I'm staying just outside Jamieson at the Jamieson valley retreat and I'm just after some tips, advice or previous reports on fishing in the river.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks a lot!

this time of year just fish the early morning and evening....imo

try a floating trout rapala or drifting down srubworms either on a float or by themselves.

its imo that the early morning is yr best chance to get a few trout...but the jamo hasn't fished that well over the last few years

but its way better than working which I will be doing tomorrow !!!

cheers bm

a good old celta on a slow retrieve works well in the Jamo & Goulburn rivers. unweighted worms, crickets & mudeyes will also yield a lot of fun on light gear too.
