For anyone that wasn't aware, wendouree has been fishing very well lately with plenty of good size rainbow trout being caught. Also a few medium reddies in the mix, and I've heard of some nice browns and even carp caught lately. I haven't got anything yet on the fly but I've had plenty of hits and dropped a 30-40cm rainbow at the bank. smh

For bait fishermen powerbait seems to be the go, found 7 large balls of pink powerbait in a trout's stomach :o

For lure fishermen, sx40s, spinners, and other small minnow lures should do the job.

On the fly I have been fishing small but shiny bead head nymphs.

everytime ive tried trout fishing with my mate... we always fail LOL so i gave up! i must ask for location!

haha it can be tricky for starters...but once you get the hang of it you'll be pulling them in by the bucketload!

I used to fish trout farms until I discovered the joys of REAL trout fishing.... :tongue:
