Frankston Reservior.

If it doesn't fit in a specific freshwater fishing section, post it here

Frankston Reservior.

Post by garfish001 » Thu Sep 29, 2011 3:46 pm

I live in frankston south area, and I was there when the Reservior was open for public. I do remember very well the big chart where you tick what would you like to have in the future plan of the park (BBQ, broad walk, fishing etc..) and at least 70% of the visitors have ticked the fishing box. But now and under the name "friendship" for the park we may not get the right to fish there smh . Can I just ask this group who made them "Friends of the Reserve" , and what make them more "Friends of the Reserve" than us?. I believe under the name of nature-friendly thing , Eastlink is going to cost few hundred millions more (unseen bandicoot in the pines), and under the name of friends of the frankston beach, we'll never see a marina in Frankston. Disappointing.....

I know my brother and his friend have sneaked in before and have caught some big redfin.

I would dissaprove of the marina at Frankston, I think it would be a disaster to the local marine life there not to mention the crowds!
