Trout rivers around Geelong

Post by Jucfishing » Fri Feb 02, 2018 4:24 pm

Hi dudes and dudettes, me and a mate want to go trout fishing in a river or stream but don’t want to travel too far. We were thinking within 30km of Torquay or Geelong. Any input appreciated!

Yep, agree with the Moorabool, mate from Geelong who used to live there fished the upper regions of it. Was a few years ago now but got trout up to a couple of pounds using crickets, grasshoppers and mudeyes under bubble floats. Was very good for eels too.
