I’ve heard yams work ok in places where the fish know that it is edible but to be sure I’d probably go with sweet corn and worms.

How's this for an idea. We get the whole forum involved for Callaghan Creek Yam Fishing day. Everyone dresses up in full camo ala Meppstas suggestion and we fish the creek using only full Yams for bait.

Imagine the uproar. It would be great

We'll definitely a low pressured creek with lots of food and little to no predators.. my guess is fishes should be pretty big in there.. who would be the first one to post a catch report?

I live quite close to that area, if we have any luck there then I can definitely see my pal and I massacring that place in the future. :D
