Ulupna Island

Post by davek » Fri Feb 03, 2017 11:12 am

I spent the last 3 days at Ulupna Island trying to catch fish straight after a busy long weekend there. Everyone had gone when we arrived and I weaved my way along the beach between old camp fires to set up camp.

Had a bugger of a time getting past the picky little Silver's and carp to catch a quality fish.

But I did manage a 38cm Silver Perch and a 50cm carp.

All up I bothered to beach 8 silvers and 6 carp, not what I was looking for but it was pleasant enough on the beach.
Even the spider was bigger than some of the fish

It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

Surprising drew the van is dead level, I think it's where I took the pic from that makes it look that way.
