The youngest is scouting the bcf site, for a rod that is good for doing what he was doing at Bonnie doon. Apparently for Christmas.
Looks like he won't sit still and fish with bait, but is happy to toss lures all day.
Think of all the extra fishing trips you'll have now ;-) cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

Well that was fun! Three and a half days for 2 lousy carp! :) Windy weather greeted us for the first couple days, however, the fishing did not improve when the weather calmed...not for me anyway. Was happy with the easily accessible spot I tried but it didn't come up with the goods. Despite a couple good size yellas being landed nearby on the first night by Murlz and Brett Jnr! Found myself fishing on Monday in ideal conditions...with no fish action...planning my next trip! Never let it get me down. Was better than being at work anyway.

Sunday arvo Brett noticed something a bit different in the distance (see bottom pic). It was hard to see as it was a fair distance but what appeared to be 3 speed boats in the distance...one boat appeared to have an excessive number of people on it! Two of the boats appeared to be horizontal and one appeared to be vertical! May have been an optical illusion or perhaps they had a floating dome tent set up out there! A novel idea if they did! ;-)

Still a good social trip as usual and to me that is what it is all about! Looking forward to the cod trip!
cheers

I hope santa brings him a baitcaster then :-D :-D

Bad luck there Jim,can't say you didn't try.At least the weather came good for you.

The easy access spot is pretty much that all year round too.
