True. Gardiners creek is just up the road from me now, I might finally be able to catch a bloody carp

jokes aside be good for blokes who want to catch a good freshwater fish

Last trip I caught 4 trout on friday and 3 trout and 2 yellowbelly on tbe saturday....wirh only half hearted fishing.

the boys fishing from the bank caught a stack of great yellowbelly 30 mets from there tents !!!

Lots of big natives around that bay

No, they weren't.
Did someone tell you when we were there Brett? Leading up to the event last year they told me via email that fires were permitted at some times of the year. From memory they put a ban on fires starting Melbourne Cup weekend and then lift the ban after CFA restrictions are lifted. But if we go after Melbourne Cup weekend, then no fires.

I should be able to make an appearance!

Pretty sure the office lady said no fires. It was also on the paperwork, she gave us when we arrived, I remember reading fires prohibited. Which I thought was strange, as you did mention on here about them, before we went.
