Tasmanian Devil lures

Post by solararrow94 » Sat Jul 22, 2017 2:51 pm

Hi all,

I've heard that Tassie Devil lures are pretty good and was considering trying them out but have no idea which one to get. Has anyone had success on a particular one and what have you caught with it?

You're best off getting a couple different sizes in a few different colors. There isn't one lure or color that catches all the fish.

What works one day can be completely different the next, therefore it pays to have a variety.

Ive found the Yellow winged versions do better on trout, but as for colour patterns trial and error will find what they are into on that particular day.

Like most lures you hit pay dirt for whatever reason on any particular day, so you then keep trying this new "fav" lure. Then because it gets used more you catch more on it thus proving to yourself its the best colour. Ignoring the fact it caught most because you use it the most. Then one day you think the same of a different colour.
