Oh yes they work , I got a heap of them from Cabelas in a few different weights and sizes
Re: Buck tails for Victorian surf ?
And if they work on redfish ... presumably they also work on mulloway?

I was going to buy some today at BCF for tomorrows trip down to gunnamatta to try em out, but I ran out of time and didn't get them, oh well I'll get some for the next trip, the green and gold should be a good one to try on the salmon.

If the salmon are in close I'm sure they would work. The don't look like the most aerodynamic piece of kit out there.

Poodoo In the video they come in all sizes so a 4 or 6 oz should get a fair way out I imagine, they are similar to feather jigs I've trolled in colors green and yellow and pure white from boats and caught couta, striped tuna, small yellow fin tuna, albacore. I never trolled near the surf so I'm curious about them land based.
