Left Hand or Right Hand ?

Post by russellh2 » Fri Dec 18, 2015 1:52 am

Which way do you Cast / Wind:-
1...Cast Right Hand / Wind Left Hand
2...Cast Left Hand / Wind Right Hand
3...Cast Left Hand, then change Rod to Right Hand and then Wind Left Hand

Not sure if I have seen - Cast Right Hand, then change Rod to Left Hand and then Wind Right Hand

Which One Are You??

Cast right, change rod to left and wind with the right is the most common form I thought? Thats what I do anyway

Yes I'm a dirty switcher. Had had the argument plenty of times with mates. It's never caused me grief even in fast water. Only time I see switching as a negative is with BC's

Cast left, wind right, now you'll know who I am when you see me, ;-) cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

Cast right, wind left.
@ducky I've seen that switching can make a difference when fishing fast streams, especially with floating lures
