I thought this thread was going to be fishing hacks to catch fish I'll throw in some anyway.

I dive some spots I like to fish to find out what kinds of fish(if any) are in the area and the structure around then target them with this info, got a few whiting and snapper spots this way!

For mulloway fish near a light source at dark with fresh baits light attracts baitfish and sometimes the mulloway are around.

Leatherjacket guts is actually the best burley ever! I found anyway.

Hope this helps some people happy fishing!!:)

It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

Nice find phil!

This is actually a good opportunity to share different things you've done to make your fishing life easier.

I'll offer a couple.

I pre tie all of my rigs MINUS the sinkers and put them in individual sandwhich bags. This way they sit absolutely flat. I carry sinkers in a different little box in my back pack. This means I tie one knot from the mainline to the top swivel and then loop my sinker on and i'm ready to cast.

When walking into a rock ledge, i'll always sling my rod. I've seen guys carry them over a shoulder, and it means you have one less hand free if anything goes wrong. I take my reels off and put them in a back pack, then tie the rods together with a bit of rope/string/elastic. Then I use an old sports bag shoulder strap to hook them over my shoulder. Two free hands to climb up and down bits and pieces and not bits of line to get tangled if i have to get through scrub. It takes a couple of minutes longer to setup when i get to the ledge, but saves countless tangles and trips on the way in and out.

I've also found sandwich bags to be the best way to store rigs. They seem to just come straight out when u need them, unlike store bought ones where you feel the bloke tying it has gone out of his way to make your life as difficult as possible when you want a new rig.

I use a CD case which has about 20 inserts which act like the sandwich bags.
It has a hard case and can be zipped closed and won't blow away in the wind.

I prefer to use "change bags" from the banks. Its free and its small enough to fit in the CD wallet. I prepare all my rigs in advance ready with hooks and like Doug, no sinker. Since the cd case has a center spine; half my rigs are running and the other half are paternosters. All the lighter rigs towards the end and the serious heavier rigs in the centre.

Glad everyone enjoyed the video. He's a top bloke the Crazy Russian hahahaha.
