cod bait in eltham

Hey all im the yarra in eltham at the moment trying to get a cod. any good sugestions on bait other than cheese? Would bardi grubs work out this way? Cheers

mate i cant seem to catch anything in the yarra i mostly fish eltham with cheese, bread, worms and lures

Not for cod... Bardi grubs and yabbies, yeah you will get em on worms but they would go for bardies before worms
