Lakes & Ponds around Glen waverley?

Hey guys,
Anyone know any good lakes or ponds around the Glen Waverley area (within half an hours drive)
Karkarook is the only one I know of

I see the same guy fishing rowville lakes every second or 3rd day weather dependent.
surely he wouldnt go back unless he caught fish. mind you ive never stopped to ask him how he goes, as freshwater fishen isn't my scene...

I just take an interest in who fishes where as I drive past the lakes every day to get home. he usually fishes the same spot most times...

Ringwood is within 30mins. Just.
Jells park has reddies and carp and is practically next door
Otherwise theres a few nearby lakes with reddies. Use Google maps to find water

lakeside in pakenham has some decent sized redfin in there now and lots of small ones.
they also stock it with trout on school holidays and there is quite a few eels in there as well

if you walk about halfway down the lake and on the left side there is some benches, there is a drop out the front of them that is a bit deeper.
