plenty of fishing options

Post by repspec » Thu Mar 02, 2017 12:12 pm

Hey guys
Just thought i would share my recent experiences with fishing around s/e melbourne.

Last friday landed a 40cm+ perch landbased, on plastics

Last saturday i landed a 44cm Rock flathead, landbased, on plastics

Last night i landed 3 bream to 36cm, in my boat(12ft tinny with a 15hp mercury), on cranka crabs.

In a week, i have landed 3 different species using NO bait, land based and in a boat.

Just shows that there is a great variety of fish out there and you dont have to follow the crowd and just try for whiting/snapper!
