Flatty teeth

Post by crumpet_avenger » Sun Apr 22, 2018 9:03 am

Ive caught plenty of flatty over the years but ive never seen a flatty with teeth like the 1 i caught friday night.

I used to put my thumb in the flatties mouth and my index finger underneath its lip to deehook them. Glad i didnt do it this way on this fish.
Anyone else ever noticed teeth like this on a flatty?

I saw a juvenile flathead take a chunk out of someone's hand on a pier recently. His hand bled for a good long while.

Tiger flatties have teeth like that. But they're normally in 30mtrs of water. And they're a very chunky fish.

Never seen them that big on such a small fish. Holy crap. :o_0:
Imagine the teeth on that 1 if it was 60 or 70cm long. :o_0:
