Whatever or whenever, it's still a good family feed size, :fish11: cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

Apparently the guys name isnt greg finney (the actual greg finney daughter commented on the original post) and also the photo was taken with the fish held right out in front. Still a massive fish but not as crazy as the post might make you think (similar to the 4kg salmon that some people catch in ppb that are only 55cm long)
Cam
The fishing was good; it was the catching that was bad

You gotta love photoshop, still a good fish, would love to know the actual size and would hate to get pricked by one of those spines it would go right through your hand and I wish he didn't hold it by the gills before he released it

At least he released it. I understand all the heartburn about holding it by the head and whatnot. Hooks in the mouth, being taken out of water. Its all bad.
The point is he released it. Stop whinging
Imagine if he ate it
Nice fish

They get bigger, far eastern coast is home to some absolute crocs. Biggest I've seen actually measured is 1.35m, only way to catch em that big is with live mullet or salmon!
