Land based game fishing vic?

Hey guys,
Just wondering if anyone goes land based game fishing around the warrnambool area or knows of anyone who does?
Been in VIC for 2yrs and only went out on the tuna last year. Have seen a lot of big fish land based action further up in NSW but haven't really heard of much here. Just seems to be salmon and bream with the occasional gummy. Gummys are great but the other two i have no time for.
Got thinking last year, we go out off the shelf for the smaller school bluefin but the big barrels were getting caught within 2kms of shore. Any reason to think they couldn't be caught off the rocks using a live yakka and a balloon?
I guess maybe the idea of victorian rock fishing is a bit of a death wish at times.

Anyway, would love to hear everyone's thoughts

LBG is definitely do-able in Vic, the blokes that do it keep their secrets pretty close to their chests tho, especially for someone asking with their first post. Not having a crack, just letting you know.

There are stories on here about landbased game catches & some do reveal their locations.

My suggestion would be to have a read through some of the landbased threads.

Really appreciate the help.
Not after exact spots, just rough areas to try myself and more so just curious if anyone actually did it down here and what I'd be likely to catch.
I'm sure there's places but from what I've seen it's mostly cliffs around here.
Will have a flick through the threads and see what i can find.

P.s. If anyone wants another head in their boat i'm always up for a trip outside. Happy to go halves in fuel and bait. Generally its catch and release for me once i have a meal so anything after that someone else can have.
