Portland Report: The tuna have slowly but shorly started to become more consistent within the last few weeks. Most consistent lures being the all time favourite Rapala x-rap magnums and any range of skirts in the 4 to 6 inch range. The next few months will certainly be the time to Hit Portland, as Late April, May, June and July are really the prime months. This is the time where bait is in abundance, water temp is at its prime. In the last couple of weeks there have been a few fantastic fish landed between 80-138 kg. To see a fish of that size up close is spectacular. Could you imagine fighting and yet landing one??? Once in a lifetime dream of many anglers!
