It’s an amazing ship I have been onboard the Nimitz, uss Eisenhower and uss Carl Vinson aircraft carriers in the late 70’s early 80’s back when the aircraft were painted in gloss colours not drab grey. The US assault ships iwo Jima, Guadalcanal are helicopter av8 (harrier) carriers are really interesting if you ever get a chance and they let you on board have a look.
